Back to the Future.

Even after a few wines last night I couldn't sleep (which subsequently meant that I slept through my alarm this morning and was late to work!). I was thinking about this blimmin' themed wedding that is coming up and how I would accesorise this beautiful Ralph Lauren dress that I am borrowing.

I truly find themes to be fun for low key parties but naff, which I guess is part of the fun. I never thought anyone I knew would have a themed wedding and yet here I am embarking on a journey back out Terrace Downs not to get my drink on and listen to obnoxiously loud and terribly mixed DJ'ing from the US but to watch one of my oldest friends walk down the aisle. Only she'll be walking as a flapper girl.

As all good insomiac's do, I started googling and came across these stunning photos of someone else's special day. Certainly shut my gob on themed wedding's. I guess it's only naff if you have the creativity of a flogged cat.

Overall, I have shut my gob and chosen to spend more time freaking out about the fact that we're now at an age where people start getting married. I'm probably going to lose more sleep.
