winter is coming, time to wrap up

I'm absolutely in love with capes this winter and they are everywhere. I will say they are a pain when it comes to carrying bags, but fashion and function don't always mix! Can't wait to wrap up! xx

Clogs: shoe of the season or fashion victim?

You know how I feel about my new clogs.

But in saying this I distinctly remember making fun of the girls who held onto the fad for too long last time it circulated. Does that make me worse then them? I fear that it does.

What is coming next? Cargo pants? Peddle pushers? PUFFER VESTS?!!

If my excitement about my recently purchsed black "Funkis" are anything to go by; I will be right there with them when they raise their ugly heads once again. Sigh.

Bellbottoms that made me green.

You're probably getting sick of me going on about Alice + Olivia but it hurts!

I cannot find any stockists anywhere! I just did a read up on the designer, Stacey Bendet, and she certainly seems like a crazy character! She became somewhat infamous by rollerblading around in bellbottom pants! ?? Now she has a following of people like Angelina Jolie and Dakota Fanning.

I know this sounds so bad, but I usually struggle with American designers. Even going through some of Marc Jacobs stuff the other day I was wondering who on earth would buy candy cane pink and lime green sweatshirt pants. Not me.

I can't quite make sense of it. All I know is that I want.

Foreign Correspondent A/W 2010?

I don't see how putting a beret makes it 'international' but I do ADORE the collection. What I love best about Shakuhachi is that I never feel like it's dated, such as my Pirate dress from at least, what, four seasons ago? I still get complimented on it all the time, can wear it anywhere at any time and it makes me feel special!

I believe this is what they call "an investment piece"- I scoff at work, but they may be right!

So, this is pretty much the most exciting this I have seen in the last month or two. Even the name sounds cool- Batwing cut out in 'animal'.

I love Shakuhachi, I just wish that I could wear it to work!
